Specna Arms J-Series ™ CORE ™ carbine replicas are made primarily out of durable polymer reinforced with nylon fiber, making the replica lightweight and comfortable to use. The pistol grip, the receiver with the handguard with the gas tube overlay, the elbow and the front sight are made of polymer. The most crucial elements, such as the barrel mount, dummy bolt carrier, rear sight, front mount, barrel and front sight are made out of zinc and aluminum alloy. The dust cover, safety, trigger guard and the stock are made out of steel.

Specna Arms J-Series ™ CORE ™ features a very good fit of the parts, low weight and ergonomics. In addition, the replica comes equipped with the ESA2™ quick spring change system. The system allows you to adjust the power of the replica without the necessity to disassemble the replica. To replace the spring, you just need to remove the dust cover, fold the stock and unscrew the screw holding the spring guide.

The replica is compatible with most types of Cyma, JG, E&L and Bolt magazines, the matching of magazines from other brands may require some minor modifications. 

The replica has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe batteries. Thanks to the basic muzzle velocity of ~ 380 FPS guaranteed by the factory-installed main spring, the replica is perfect for middle-range operations. The set also includes an M90 spring, which allows you to reduce the initial muzzle velocity to ~ 310 FPS, making it the replica perfectly adapted to operate at short distances or inside buildings.

The gearbox has 8 mm slide bearings and steel gears fitted on them. The system is secured by means of four anti-reversal latches. A light, made out of polycarbonate plastic piston is fitted with a full steel tappet plate increasing its durability. A type 0 cylinder and a steel circuit-breaker are also used here. The durability of the components allows for using M140 springs.
