AIMS Romenian AK (RK-15)

The AIMS Romenian AK replica is made of steel, aluminum and high quality wood with high attention to detail. The elements such as the body, folding stock, the magazine , the gas pipe replica, the recoil reducer, the dust cover and the minor elements are made of steel while the outer barrel is made of aluminum. The front grip with the profiled tactical grip and the gas pipe replica overlay were made of high class dark wood which presents itself perfectly and lies comfortably in the operator’s hands. The pistol  grip was made of durable plastic.

The RK15 was equipped with a plastic HopUp chamber which characterizes itself with very good sealing. A very durable V.3 gearbox that is typical for the AK replicas was used.

The use of the M125 main spring in combination with the piston equipped with an aluminum sleeve in effect gave a great, as for an assault rifle, muzzle velocity reaching ~380 FPS. This fact is also influenced by the use of the reinforced ball bearing main spring guide.

Due to its dimensions the replica is perfect for middle distance skirmishes and the long inner barrel in combination with the great muzzle velocity guarantees high concentration and precision of the shots while in a firefight.
